An interactive 3D voxel belief volume and geological prospectivity platform developed by Eigenform, demonstrating multi-modal exploration targeting across Western Australia. By synthesising gravity anomalies, airborne magnetics, radiometrics, structural fault networks, and historical drillhole geochemistry, this white-box prospectivity model evaluates subsurface mineral discovery potential with quantified uncertainty reduction.
Derived from the Coe-Fairbairn blind test in the Paterson Province of Western Australia, GeoViz enables exploration geologists to evaluate gold, copper, and rare-earth mineral potential by toggling individual evidence layers and observing Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC) updates in real time. Rather than treating prospectivity as an opaque black-box heatmap, every 3D voxel maintains a complete provenance trace back to primary geological records, historical drilling assays, and geophysical survey grids.
Users can switch between the 2D multi-layer map view and the 3D volumetric belief renderer, inspect uncertainty reduction scores (−ΔBIC) for each dataset, and compare predicted high-probability targets against known mineralisation intersections and exploration drill collars.
